The Research Agency welcomes a true international heavyweight to the team

We are delighted to welcome a Colleen to the team. Colleen, along with her business partner Wendy Gordon, are considered the global forefathers of modern qualitative research.
Together they founded and grew their company The Research Business International (TRBI), into the 6th largest research company and largest independent research company in the UK, before selling to Maritz.
TRBI was the company, which spawned the entire boutique research category in the UK and was single-handedly responsible for producing the generations of thinkers and business people, who have gone on to spread their passion for clever research.
Colleen holds an MBA, was Chairman of the Association of Market Research Organisations and finalist in Veuve Cliquot UK Business Woman, before leaving the UK.
Since leaving her role as Chairman of TRBI, Colleen has sailed around the world, written a series of Diving Guides for the Caribbean, run a luxury lodge in Queenstown and been Chair of the Lodges of New Zealand Association.
Colleen will fill the role of Consumer Strategist at The Research Agency.

Recognised for excellence in the sales and marketing category, we will join 48 other finalists in this years’ AUT Excellence in Business Support Awards – a record number in the awards seven year history.
Sarah Trotman says the high level of interest this year is highly encouraging for New Zealand business. “The Excellence in Business Support Awards were established in 2005, and never before have we had 49 finalists. Such interest in recognising quality in the field of business support indicates an understanding that, with world-class business support, New Zealand can build world-class business,” says Trotman.
